Pictured is David Boyle, president of the Walker County Historical Society, presenting the 2009 Walker County Historic Preservation Award on April 25 to Diann Shields-Bell who received it on behalf of her husband, Clayton Bell. Clayton died December 2009 and and had served as president of the WCHS for 15 years and as chair of the Marsh House Building and Grounds Work Group for five years.
