One of the men was shot twice by the homeowner, one was captured and a third suspect is still at large.
According to Rossville Police Department detective Dave Scroggins:
The suspect who was shot is Marvin Dewayne Wallace, 41, of Chattanooga. Also charged is Andre Jenkins, 43, of Chattanooga.
Wallace is in critical condition. He is charged in Georgia with burglary, battery and criminal damage to property. Once Wallace is released from the hospital, he will be sent to the Hamilton County jail and extradited to the Walker County jail.
Jenkins is charged as a fugitive of Georgia and remains in the Hamilton County jail, where he awaits his charge from Tennessee. He was recently released from prison for like charges within the past few days. Jenkins is charged in Georgia with burglary, battery and criminal damage to property as well.
The identity of the suspect who fled in the vehicle is still unknown, but he fled in an either white to light blue four-door compact vehicle.
