Using some of the district's newest technology including laptops, interactive white boards and web cams, Norma Payne at North LaFayette Elementary and Laura Aldridge at Chattanooga Valley Elementary link their classes to learn together in real time. The Internet connection allows fifth-grade students to interact and share their knowledge. Pictured: Norma Payne's class opens the workshop with a mini lesson on decimal operations and artifacts for the standard. Laura Aldridge's students at Chattanooga Valley Elementary will present the workshop portion on fractions.
