The LaFayette Recreation and Parks Department sponsored a 3-on-3 basketball tournament during the Freedom Festival to raise money for the Children’s Miracle Network. Over $200 was raised with went to T.C. Thompson’s Children’s Hospital in Chattanooga.

The Crusaders edged the Saints 12-10 in the championship game. The Georgia Boys finished in third place in the double elimination tournament.

A three-point shoot-out for adults and children was also held. The adult winner received a $25 gift card with the children’s winner getting a new Gameboy.

The Recreation Department would like to thank Chris Anderson and Isaac Baker for volunteering their time and the Memphis and Phoenix teams for participating
