Second-grader Evan Cisco reads a story titled "My Friend's Dog" that he wrote for Zorro, the service dog that recently arrived at Chattanooga Valley Elementary courtesy of a donation by Canine Companions.

Zorro is a highly trained 2-year-old yellow Labrador retriever that has been used in numerous ways by the school’s teachers and staff since arriving in mid-August.

He understands about 50 commands and listens to stories and songs daily, along with being a calming companion for many students.
