Frustration with trespassers

Dear editor:

I was elated to hear that Harold Cole was found not guilty. As a property owner I can relate to Cole’s frustration with trespassers.

People abuse and misuse your property at will. When you find people trespassing on your property they tend to get angry and at times violent, they curse you, threaten you, flip you off, laugh at you and then continue to trespass without any fear of law enforcement officials. I simply believe that we, as property owners, need to be able to protect ourselves, our families and our properties from those that would cause harm.

Doug Farmer Sr., LaFayette
