The city of Ringgold is moving its Veteran’s Day celebration featuring the Jericho Brass

to the lawn of Ringgold City Hall.

The free event is Sunday, Nov. 11, at 3 p.m. and is part of its annual Fall Festival of Flags.

"Last year we had such a large turn-out for the event that the depot was full, and with the initial interest shown in attending this year and the blessing of predicted good weather, we decided to move to the lawn of Ringgold City Hall," said Dan Wright, city manager. "We will have 300 chairs set up on the lawn, but feel free to bring your own lawn chair or seat cushion and enjoy the concert."

Wright said that soft drinks and water will be available for sale at the event.

The event is sponsored by the Ringgold Downtown Development Authority.

Ringgold’s Festival of Flags is displayed twice a year and honors the deceased veterans of Catoosa County. Each flag represents one county resident who has died that served in the military.
