I am very concerned about the upcoming election. I’m praying each day that all Americans will stop and think seriously about their decisions. After last night (Oct. 17) listening to President Obama playing “Ring around the Questions,” he just would not answer the questions directly. Not only in the national election, we have several races that are so important.
I would like for you to vote for John Defenbaugh for state representative for District 1. He has a very broad perspective on what is needed for both Dade and Walker counties. He is a Christian, and I feel that he will do the very best that he can. He will certainly try.
Now, our commissioner needs our support. We know what Bebe has done, and I feel like she has run the county as she would her own home. I have never talked with her that she fails to explain what she did and why she did it. She has had to take a lot of heckling, lies being told about her, and so many more things that are not necessary. I have not heard Bebe say anything negative about her opponent.
Let’s keep our county; we have not lost it as some are saying. If we had wanted another form of government, we could have done so many times over. I heard no one complain until the July opponent came along.
Please pray and pray before you make your final decision. We know what we have; we don’t know the other side.
