A supporter of my campaign wrote a letter to the editor a little over a week ago. We caught a fact that was wrong and I am always on the side of telling the truth. It was stated that John Carpenter voted Democratic Party primary to support his friend Bruce Coker in 2006. It was thought that Bruce had not run in 2006, but in 2008 and 2010. Bruce ran in 2006 and 2008. Mr. Coker had no opposition in the Democratic Party primary, so perhaps Mr. Carpenter wanted to show moral support for Mr. Coker.
