The Walker County Chamber of Commerce is again gearing up for this year’s political candidates' forum, to be held June 19 at the Walker County Civic Center.

Candidates campaigning for all Walker County and regional offices are invited to attend the forum. These in-clude the races for county commissioner, sheriff and school board, among others, as well as the multi-county con-tests for state representatives seats 1 and 2, state senator for District 53 and the Lookout Mountain Judicial Circuit district attorney.

Candidates who attend will present their responses to prepared questions created by the Chamber of Com-merce’s governmental affairs committee. Once these questions have been answered, the candidates will have an unscripted rebuttal opportunity.

Candidates should arrive at 6 p.m. for registration. The event is free and open to the public to attend and will begin at 6:30 p.m.
