McElhaney and Parker wed

Jeremy A. McElhaney of Noble, Ga., and Amber L. Parker of Rock Spring were united in marriage before God on Feb. 8, 2012. The private service was held at Ridgeway Baptist Church, where both are active members. Dr. Clay Powell, pastor and friend, officiated the ceremony. The groom is the son of Debbie Pierce and the late W. David McElhaney of Chattanooga, and serves as the operations/human resources director at The Jimmy Simpson Foundation in Rock Spring. The bride is the daughter of Larry and Joyce Parker of Rock Spring, and a nurse at Erlanger at Hutcheson in Fort Oglethorpe, serving in the Health Information Services department. The groom’s daughter (Madison) and the bride’s children (Dylan and Carlie) were also in attendance and were united as a family. The family will reside in Rock Spring.
