The Boynton Bandits needed two games, but brought the 6-year-old Dizzy Dean World Series championship trophy back home from Rome on Friday.

Boynton lost their first game of the tournament early on Friday, falling by one run to the Northport (Ala.) Nationals, forcing a second and deciding game.

However, the Bandits regrouped to beat Northport in the second game, winning via the run-rule in after five innings.
