After getting rained out on Thursday, the Dizzy Dean 10-year-old "A" State Tournament is slated to conclude tonight at the Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe Recreation Association Complex on Barnhardt Circle.

Host LFORA will battle Valdosta for the title tonight at 6 p.m. Should LFORA win, a second game would follow immediately.

LFORA lost to Valdosta in the winners' bracket final earlier this week. On Wednesday night, they defeated Sandy Springs to earn a spot in the finals.

The Dizzy Dean 10-year-old "B" State Tournament, also being held in Fort Oglethorpe, was won by the Eastside Thunder, who toppled Valdosta in the championship game.

Valdosta won five straight games in the losers' bracket to advance to the final.
