Hannah Renee Thomas and Nathan Shane Wilson announce their engagement.

The bride-elect’s parents are Danny and Pam Thomas of LaFayette. She is the sister of Amanda Jones of Rocky Face, Ga. and Selina Thomas of LaFayette. Her grandparents are Wanda Thomas and the late Albert Thomas and Glenda Saine and the late Herbert A. Saine Jr., all of LaFayette.

The groom-elect’s parents are Randy and Kelly Wilson of Dallas, Ga. He is the brother of Nick Wilson of Dallas, Ga. His grandparents are Lewis and Ruth Miller, Eloise Wilson and the late Raleigh Wilson, all of Dallas, Ga. and Katherine Miller of Taylorsville, Ga.

Thomas is a 2005 LaFayette High School honor graduate and a 2008 Dalton State College graduate with an associate’s degree in the science of nursing. She works as a registered nurse at Floyd Medical Center in Rome, Ga.

Wilson is a 1999 graduate of Paulding County High School. He works at Lockheed Martin in Marietta, Ga. He is a member of Narroway Baptist Church.

The couple were engaged May 14 and will be married Oct. 15 at 4 p.m. at Concord Methodist Church.
