The 50th anniversary of the Natural Resources Conservation Workshop was held June 4 through June 9 at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College in Tifton, Ga.

This year’s workshop was enjoyed by 178 Georgia high school students from 81 counties throughout Georgia. Students participated in field trips, activities, and hands-on classroom learning with opportunities to earn college scholarships at the end of the week.

Sarah Searles, Tyler Mooneyham, Samantha Paris and Tabitha Floyd attended this year’s workshop and were sponsored by Walker County Farm Bureau and Ag Georgia Farm Credit through the Coosa River Soil and Water Conservation District.
