In the aftermath of the April storms, and the destruction at Ringgold Middle and Dade County Middle, the North Georgia Athletic Conference suspended competition for the remainder of the school year.

However, the NGAC did present regular-season awards based on league records prior to the storms.

The Gordon Lee Trojans were crowned 2011 baseball champions while Ringgold finished as runners-up.

Heritage won the girls’ soccer championship with Chattanooga Valley’s Lady Eagles earning runner-up honors.

Heritage also won the boys’ soccer title with Lakeview finishing as runner-up.

And in golf, LaFayette won the league title beating out Gordon Lee.
