Erica Lynn Eberle and Christopher Blake Stansell wed Saturday, Oct. 9, at the River Inn in Chattanooga, Tenn. The officiating minister was Tim Ashley.

The parents of the bride are Johnna and Wayne Bell and Tom and Beth Eberle, and the parents of the groom are Melody and Sonny Day and Johnny and Darlene Stansell.

The ceremony was held on the outside deck overlooking the Tennessee River at the River Inn in Chattanooga. Ceremony music was provided by harpist Rachel Payne.

The maid of honor was Katherine Barger of Johnson City, Tenn. The bride’s attendant was Courtney Edwards of Flintstone, sister of the groom. The bridesmaids wore embellished floor-length, one-shoulder J.S. Boutique plum-colored gowns.

The best man was Mathew Barker of Athens, Ohio. The groomsman was Matthew Ashley of Atlanta, cousin of the groom. The groomsmen wore black pinstriped tuxedoes with black herringbone vests and ties and ivory pockets. The groom wore a black pinstriped tuxedo with ivory vest and tie and ivory pocket.

The bride wore a Pricilla of Boston strapless, A-line gown with a sweetheart neckline accented with Swavorski crystals and angled ruching down through the cathedral length train. The bride carried a hand-tied bouquet highlighted with hot tangerine and fuchsia colors and with hints of ivory. Flowers included fuchsia stock, orange pincushion protease, orange hypericum berries, ivory wax flower, and accent of green trick to coordinate with groom’s boutonniere and fuchsia spray roses.

The mother of the bride wore a floor-length Jasmine Jade Coture cobalt-colored chiffon gown.

The reception was also held at the River Inn. The bride chose unconventional flowers, including orange pincushion protease, green spider chrysanthemums, fox tile lilies, bamboo and hot pink gerbera daisies to decorate the reception area. Large round tables were decorated with a set of three centerpieces of varying heights; longer family-style tables were decorated with low garden-like centerpieces, and the smaller tables were decorating using small rock-like vases. Votives were placed surrounding each centerpiece on the satin plum-colored linens.

The bride’s cake was a four-layer, Italian crème cake decorated with flowers to coordinate with the reception decorations.

The groom’s cake was a vanilla cake in the shape of a “T” in honor of the Groom’s favorite college football team.

After dinner, the D.J. provided music while guests danced on the deck overlooking the Tennessee River.

The couple took a wedding trip to Disney World. They will reside in Ooltewah, Tenn.

The engagement shower party was given by the bride’s law school friends at the University of Tennessee College of Law.

A couples’ shower was given by Rebecca Parsons and David Shelton at their home in Knoxville, Tenn.

A bridal shower was given by Diane Eavey and Gayla Bennett at the mother of the bride’s home in Ooltewah, Tenn.

A bridal shower was given by Courtney Edwards, Bailey Smith and Lindsey Smith in Chickamauaga.

A groom’s shower was given by Sharon Jones at the groom’s place of employment in Chattanooga, Tenn.
