Lake Winnepesaukah opens for the 2011 season April 8.

Admission to Lake Winnepesaukah Amusement Park is only $5. Individual ride tickets or an unlimited ride pass are available, and parking is always free.

Celebrating over 85 years of quality family fun and memories during 2011, Lake Winnepesaukah makes its guests feel welcome with festivities throughout the season.

“Lake Winnepesaukah will continue to give the gift of lasting memories and nonstop excitement to all who visit us,” said Talley Green.

Towering over Lake Winnepesaukah’s tree line is the OH-Zone!, a 14-story freefall guaranteed to take riders for an exciting descent. Home to the Cannon Ball roller coaster, the park also hosts family rides and attractions.

Younger riders will delight on the magical Bumble Bees and the gentle Parachutes. Families can soar on the wind aboard the Wave Swinger or enjoy a leisurely countryside tour with the Antique Cars. There’s even the Wild Lightnin’ steel roller coaster and the beginner coaster fun of the Wacky Worm.

For guests seeking to enjoy the lazy days of summer, the Stay & Play Hideaway is an interactive play area for guests of all ages to enjoy, refresh and recoup during a day of fun at Lake Winnepesaukah Amusement Park.

Chill Down Kidtown, a refreshing area of interactive misters and water elements is perfect for keeping cool on hot summer days. With fun slides & activities, Runaround Playground provides more towers and ladders than a young adventurer can maneuver in just one visit, set amongst the Lake Winnepesaukah shade trees.

For added entertainment, Lake Winnepesaukah has packed its summer with special events the whole family will enjoy. The popular Jukebox Junction Summer Concert series returns in 2011 with headliners from some of the best in country music. Fans of Christian music will be able to enjoy three additional free concerts throughout the summer months. As always, the spectacular fireworks displays over the Independence Day holiday are not to be missed.

Lake Winnepesaukah’s food courts are filled with delectable treats and refreshing drinks. Besides the traditional offerings of hot dogs and the famous Lake Winnepesaukah hamburgers, the food courts also offer a selection of salads & wraps for the health-conscious as well as sweet treats such as funnel cakes, cotton candy and candy apples, all at affordable prices.

The park’s catering department serves delicious meals to larger groups such as businesses, schools, churches and family reunions.

Unlike typical theme and amusement parks, Lake Winnepesaukah also invites all of its visitors to pack a picnic basket, bring it into the park, and enjoy a family luncheon in the cool shade of Lake Winnepesaukah’s picnic grove.

Lake Winnepesaukah Amusement Park has been recognized as one of “America’s Top Ten Family Amusement Parks” by Travel & Leisure Magazine. For more information, visit www.lakewinnie.com or call 1-877-LAKEWIN.
