The LaFayette Senior Neighbors met Thursday, March 3, with 28 members and three visitors present. Margaret Newton called the meeting to order. Visitors were welcomed.

Prayer was requested for the following people: Bill and Dot Baker, Mrs. Garner, Dot Bailey, Delores Grigsby, George Wilson and Ross Martin. Vera Palmer opened the meeting in prayer.

Newt Gray led in the pledge to the flag. The secretary’s and treasurer’s reports were approved as presented.

We sang Happy Birthday to the people celebrating birthdays this month.

Margaret Newton suggested that we do an Italian meal for April along with salads and desserts.

Vera Palmer, program chairman, introduced our guest, Jim Sailors, who did a devotional. His wife, Lavenda Sailors, did a wonderful program of songs. Jim Sailors led the group in prayer before a covered dish luncheon was served.
