A two-car accident on Thursday in LaFayette led to the arrest of one of the drivers.

According to the LaFayette Police Department:

Bowe Taylor Coffman, 21, of LaFayette was arrested for driving with a suspended license and disregarding a traffic signal, which resulted in the collision.

Coffman was driving south in a black Jeep Cherokee on the U.S. 27 bypass in LaFayette.

He ran a red light at Warthen Street, colliding with a green Honda Civic driven by 23-year-old Alexandria Leanne Bradley of LaFayette at about 11:45 a.m, according to Cpl. Stacy Blalock.

Bradley sustained moderate injuries but was alert and responding to commands as first responders transported her to the hospital.

Coffman was arrested at the scene.
