A Chattanooga couple faces felony charges for stealing 113 Blu-ray DVDs, valued at $1,812, at the LaFayette Walmart.

According to the LaFayette Police Department reports:

Nicole Dryman, 32, and husband Jason Dryman, 34, of Rossville Boulevard in Chattanooga face three charges of shoplifting.

On June 14, the couple entered the store at 2:39 p.m. and placed a large cooler in their shopping cart then proceeded to the electronics department.

The Drymans filled the cooler with predominantly action movie DVDs, including 15 copies of “Pirates of the Caribbean, At World’s End” ($225) and 11 copies of “Conan the Barbarian” on Blu-ray ($219.56).

Among the 33 movie titles the couple allegedly stole were copies of “Book of Eli,” “Dark Knight,” “Wyatt Earp,” “Training Day,” “Rambo,” and “Point Break.”

The couple, “with an extensive history of thefts,” according to Kelley, exited through the automotive department without paying.

The caper continued that day as the Drymans went to the Fort Oglethorpe Walmart and stole more electronic merchandise, according to Kelley.

As the police arrived at the Fort Oglethorpe Walmart, the couple made their third stop at K-Mart and proceeded to steal $300 worth of merchandise.

The couple concealed the items and exited the building into the parking lot where the Fort Oglethorpe police “met them in the parking lot,” according to Kelley.

The Drymans were taken into custody following the incident. Both face three charges of shoplifting. The charge from LaFayette Police Department is a felony count. Jason Dryman also faces a charge for driving on a suspended license.
