Mother, daughter arrested for shoplifting in Fort Oglethorpe

Two Fort Oglethorpe women were arrested on shoplifting charges on Tuesday, Feb. 12, after the mother-daughter duo allegedly attempted to steal nearly $200 worth of clothing from the K-Mart on Battlefield Parkway.

According to the Fort Oglethorpe Police Department:

Lisa Gail Warnack, 45, and Samantha Whittley Warnack, 20, both of Old LaFayette Road in Fort Oglethorpe were arrested on Feb. 12 and charged with shoplifting.

Both women have since been released from jail on bond.

Officers were dispatched to the K-Mart at 526 Ga. 2 (Battlefield Parkway) around 2 p.m. in regards to the reported theft, and were informed that the two women had been detained by the store’s loss prevention team.

The $198 dollars worth of clothing was recovered and the Warnacks were transported to Catoosa County jail without incident.
