On October 23-27 a load of FFA members, officers and Agriculture teachers will be traveling to Indianapolis, Indiana to the National FFA Convention. Many reasons encourage the group to go. Michelle Kinsey, a graduate of LaFaytte High and a former officer herself went as far as to earn her American FFA degree. To be honored with an award as great as this you must fulfill the requirements. Some of the requirements are; receive all other 3 FFA degrees, be a FFA member for 3 years, complete at least 540 hours of agriculture education and many more. 1% of FFA members go as far to receive this award. LaFayette High will be all smiles as they represent the home, school, and community of an American Degree recipient sitting with 55,000 other FFA members.
